Siding the House Begins!

Ben and Ben enjoy a 55 degree day in January (a daily record) to start siding the house.


Ted trims the front porch.

Joy and Chapin prepare the back side of the house for the future patio. It's Chapin's last day on sabbatical. He heads back to Local Motion tomorrow.

Rebecca refinishes three old window frames from Mason Brothers in Essex Junction for interior transoms. Reuse rocks. All of our interior doors, except one, are salvage doors from Recycle North and Mason Brothers.

Chittenden Bank's Spiral Stairs

We removed this old spiral staircase from a house in Bellows Falls. Originally it was a staircase at the Chittenden Bank's Essex branch office. We're rehabbing and planning to put it in our unit.


After the Oak treads were removed, we sanded and prepared to refinish them.
